John Deere Combine Harvesters

Combine harvesters were not even dreamed of when John Deere founded his blacksmith shop in 1837 in the midwestern town of Grand Detour, Illinois.
At first John Deere specialized in improved steel plows, later growing into the manufacture of a wide variety of farm machinery. By the 1920's Deere's main product was its now legendary tractor.

In 1927 the John Deere Company introduced its very first combine harvester. The John Deere No. 2 was quickly followed by a smaller, lighter, more successful model the John Deere No. 1 Combine Harvester.
John Deere strove with continued success to develop its range of combines throughout the twentieth century.
Nowadays John Deere is a truly multinational company with franchises and production facilities in agricultural markets worldwide.
John Deere combine harvesters come in a range of series of varying size and power. From the rugged, reliable 1070 Series Combines, through the W, T and C Series Combines right up to the awesome new S Series John Deere Combine Harvesters.
